KRISTIJAN MAJIĆ (1993) ENTERED INTO A PLEA AGREEMENT ADMITTING GUILT

The accused Kristijan Majić, born on 08 October 1993 in Čapljina, where he also resides, a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina, charged with the criminal offense of Organized Crime, as referred to in Article 250 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in conjunction with the criminal offense of Counterfeiting of Money, as referred to in Article 205 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina, has entered into a Plea Agreement admitting his guilt.

Prosecutor and the accused agree that the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina impose a suspended sentence upon the accused Kristijan Majić by determining the sentence of imprisonment for a term of six (6) months and at the same time ordering that such a sentence will not be executed provided that the accused does not commit another criminal offense within the next two (2) years. By virtue of signing this Plea Agreement, the accused has fully admitted the commission of the criminal offenses charged by the Indictment of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina dated 26 June 2014, which was fully confirmed by the Preliminary Hearing Judge of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on 30 June 2014. The proposed punishment is in accordance with the role of the accused in the perpetration of the criminal offense in question. Moreover, by virtue of signing this Plea Agreement, the accused has taken upon himself an obligation to testify on all the facts, circumstances or details known to him in this criminal case and on all the perpetrators known to him, in the perpetration of which criminal offenses he himself may have participated. In that sense, the accused has agreed to testify before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina when summoned to do so by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina. With this Plea Agreement, the accused has confirmed to be familiar with the content of the Indictment of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina. At the same time, he has confirmed to have entered his plea of guilty voluntarily, consciously and with understanding. By virtue of this Plea Agreement, the accused person has waived his right to a trial and right to appeal to the criminal sanction pronounced against him by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The respective Plea Agreement has been forwarded to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
