PERSON SUSPECTED OF WAR CRIMES AGAINST PRISONERS OF WAR DEPRIVED OF LIBERTY

By order of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, Ičanović Hasan (1965), who is suspected of committing war crimes in Velika Kladuša, was deprived of liberty in the morning hours in the Bužim area. Officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency handled the arrest pursuant to the order of a Prosecutor of the Special Department for War Crimes within the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH.

PERSON SUSPECTED OF WAR CRIMES AGAINST PRISONERS OF WAR DEPRIVED OF LIBERTY

Hasan Ičanović is under investigation by the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and is suspected to have, as a member of the 5th Corps of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, committed a criminal offense against members of the National Defense of the Autonomous Province of Western Bosnia in Velika Kladuša during 1994 by killing two prisoners of war.

He is under investigation on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of War Crimes against Prisoners of War under Article 175 of the CC BiH.

The suspect will be handed over, within the legal deadline, to the Assigned Prosecutor who will question him and then decide on a motion for remand in custody or order of prohibiting measures.
