Prosecutor of Department III issued an indictment against Nedim MILANOVIĆ, charging him with the criminal offense of Impermissible Use of Copyrights under Article 243, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of BiH.
Department III within the Prosecutor's Office of BiH issued an indictment against Nedim MILANOVIĆ - born on March 15, 1969 in Sarajevo where he resides, citizen of BiH.
The indictment charges Nedim MILANOVIĆ to have, in the photocopying shop located in Sarajevo and owned by him, put into circulation copies of textbooks and books by different authors without authorization of the authors which is contrary to Articles 20, 21 and 85 of the Law on Copyright and Related Rights ("Official Gazette of BiH", No. 63/10).
As the indictment alleges, during the search of his office building, the aforementioned items were found and seized by authorized officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency - SIPA.
The accused Nedim MILANOVIĆ has, in this way, put copyrights into circulation without the permission of the author or other copyright holder, and is thus charged with the criminal offense of Impermissible Use of Copyrights under Article 243, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of BiH.
The indictment was forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation.
