PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BIH WILL FILE AN APPEAL AGAINST THE DECISION TO TERMINATE CUSTODY IN THE CASE OF ŽIVKO BUDIMIR AND OTHERS – CORRECTION OF THE DEFENSE ATTORNEY’S INACCURATE ALLEGATIONS ON THE FILING OF THE APPEAL

29.05.2013. 14:13

Due to the inaccurate information on the refused Appeal of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Decision of the Court of BiH to terminate custody, which the Defense Attorney of the suspect Živko Budimir presented to the media (for detailed information, see the link below),

we would like to inform the public of the following:

Such allegations of the Defense Attorney are absolutely untrue, primarily due to the fact that the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH has not even filed its Appeal to the aforementioned Decision yet, and the Appeal will be filed on Wednesday, 29 May 2013, in the morning hours.

We find such statements of the Defense Attorney to be an improper pressure on the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and the Court of BiH.

The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH continues its activities in this case in the direction of filing of an Indictment.

The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH continues its fight against corruption.
