MOTION FOR REMAND IN CUSTODY AND IMPOSURE OF PROHIBITING MEASURES FILED

The Prosecutor of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption within the Prosecutor's Office has filed a motion for remand in custody and imposure of prohibiting measures to the Court of BiH for several suspects, who are under investigation focusing on detection and criminal prosecution of persons suspected of the criminal offense of Organized Crime under Article 250, in conjunction with the criminal offense of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs under Article 195 of the Criminal Code of BiH.

The suspects, for which the assigned prosecutor requested remand in custody, were deprived of liberty in a coordinated police operation conducted in the area of Tuzla, Zenica and Busovača by authorized officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency - SIPA in cooperation with members of the ZDC  MoI and TC MoI.

After questioning the suspects, the assigned prosecutor filed a motion for remand in custody and imposure of prohibiting measures to the Court of BiH for several persons.

Motion for remand in custody and imposure of prohibiting measures was filed to the Court of BiH, and the prosecutor's office continues the investigation aiming to proceed with the indictment in this case.
