TWO PERSONS ACCUSED OF SMUGGLING OF GOODS CONCLUDED PLEA AGREEMENTS

The following two persons, accused of smuggling of goods, entered into plea agreements with the Prosecutor of the BiH Prosecutor's Office: Dalibor PRODANOVIĆ AKA „Dado“, born on October 15, 1977 in Bijeljina where he resides, citizen of BiH, and Goran BJELCANOVIĆ AKA „Bjeli“, born on May, 1967 in Bijeljina where he resides, citizen of BiH.

By virtue of signing the agreements the accused fully admitted committing the criminal offenses they were charged with by the indictment of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH dated April 17, 2012.

Fines in the range of 2.000,00 to 4.000,00 KM /BAM/ were proposed for the suspects.

The proposed fines are in line with the role of the accused in commission of the crime.

By virtue of the plea agreements the accused have pledged to testify before the Court of BiH when summoned.

With these agreements the accused confirm that they are aware of the content of the indictment issued by the BiH Prosecutor's Office on April 17, 2012. They also confirm that the plea statements were given voluntarily, knowingly and with full understanding and undertake to reimburse the costs of the criminal proceedings in the amount that may eventually be determined by the Court of BiH.

Pursuant to this agreement both accused waived their rights to a trial and appeal to the criminal sanction that shall be rendered to them by the Court of BiH.

The Court  of BiH fined both accused with a 4.000,00 KM /BAM/ fine
