The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina is a transparent institution and, having in mind the great interest of the public in the activities of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, this institution frequently communicates with the public and the media, informing them about its activities through press releases, information, press conferences etc.

Also, through the Public Relations Department of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH it is possible to receive answers to inquiries concerning the activities of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH in writing for the newspapers, and audio or video statements from the Public Relations Department staff.

The Chief Prosecutor and the prosecutors of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH appear in the media to provide information about important issues concerning the activities of the Prosecutor’s Office as well as about topics related to the judicial system, judicial reform etc.  

However, one should bear in mind that in accordance with the prosecutors’ ethic and the applicable law provisions, the prosecutors of the Prosecutor’s Office are often unable to give answers or take part in interviews concerning specific and pending cases.
