PERSONS SUSPECTED OF CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY DEPRIVED OF LIBERTY BY ORDER OF THE PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BIH
09.12.2021. 10:57 Acting on the order of the Prosecutor from the Special Department for War Crimes, in the area of Zvornik and Rogatica, SIPA officers arrested two persons suspected of crimes against humanity committed in Lješevo area - Ilijaš municipality in June 1992.
The investigation is related to the crime of abducting and killing 22 Bosniak civilians from Lješevo, including women and elderly people who were shot and killed, among them several members of the Avdukić, Fazlić and Masnopita families.
Suspects deprived of their liberty are charged with being direct perpetrators who personally participated in the abduction and killings of the victims.Following the questioning of the suspects, the Assigned Prosecutor will decide on further activities in the case.
