ON ORDER OF BIH PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE, ACTION AGAINST CORRUPTION CRIMINAL OFFENSES UNDERWAY IN TUZLA AREA
03.02.2021. 09:06By order of a Prosecutor from the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption, SIPA police officers are carrying out an action in the area of Tuzla, aimed at six (6) suspects employed with the Indirect Taxation Authority of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
During the investigation conducted by the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, evidence was collected indicating that the suspects employed with the Smuggling and Offences Prevention Group had committed corruption criminal offenses, by accepting gifts or other forms of benefit so that they not take official actions they had to have taken in order to detect illegal actions during the import of goods into the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Once the field activities are fully completed, the assigned Prosecutor will make a decision regarding the further activities in this case.
