GORDANA TADIĆ, ACTING CHIEF PROSECUTOR, VISITS THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT OF BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA
13.04.2017. 15:32At this meeting, current issues important for the work and functioning of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, respectively, have been discussed, along with the two institutions’ role in the realization of the rule of law and efficiency of the judicial system in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The meeting has stressed the need for a continuous cooperation and exchange of information about all activities important for the scopes of work of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, respectively.
Special attention has been paid to the issue of the execution of decisions of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where the law envisages important role for the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina in case of non-execution of such decisions.
Participants at the meeting agree that successful resolution of issues and efficient cooperation of the two respective institutions will contribute to the exercise of constitutionality, establishment of the rule of law and protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
