INDICTMENT ISSUED FOR ASSAULTING AN OFFICER OF THE DETENTION UNIT OF THE BIH INSTITUTE FOR EXECUTION OF CRIMINAL SANCTIONS
09.03.2015. 15:06Prosecutor of Department II within the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH issued an indictment against Zemir Kovačević - born on August 8, 1966 in Slavonski Brod, Republic of Croatia, residing in Sweden, a citizen of the Republic of Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The accused is charged with having attacked an authorized officer Zorinko Vidović on September 6, 2014 in the police room of the Detention Unit of the Institute for Execution of Criminal Sanctions.
Due to the assault the authorized officer suffered light physical injuries.
The accused is charged with the criminal offense of Attack against the official person on tasks of security, detection and apprehension of perpetrators of criminal offenses under Article 241b, Paragraph 2 in conjunction with Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The indictment was forwarded to the Court of BiH.
