INDICTMENT ISSUED FOR SMUGGLING OF PERSONS
07.11.2014. 15:07A Prosecutor of Department III within the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH issued an indictment against the following person:
- Veldin Oklopčić, born on May 11, 1994 in Velika Kladuša where he resides, a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
As alleged in the indictment, the accused is charged with having attempted to illegally transfer two immigrants, one of whom was a Russian citizen and a minor, on June 12, 2013 around 10:50 pm from Velika Kladuša into the Republic of Croatia with the intent of obtaining financial gain, well aware that they do not meet the legal requirements to cross the state border and enter Croatia.
The accused is charged with the criminal offense of Smuggling of Persons under Article 189, Paragraphs 1 and 4 in conjunction with article 26 of the CC BiH.
The indictment was forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation.
