THE ACCUSED FADIL PEZO (1982) ENTERED INTO A PLEA AGREEMENT ADMITTING GUILT

The accused Fadil Pezo has entered into a Plea Agreement admitting guilt for the criminal offense of Impermissible Use of Copyrights, as referred to in Article 243, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.  
  • THE ACCUSED FADIL PEZO (1982) ENTERED INTO A PLEA AGREEMENT ADMITTING GUILT

The accused Fadil Pezo, born on 03 February 1982 in Zagreb in the Republic of Croatia, a resident of Zenica, a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina, has admitted guilt for the criminal offense charged and entered into a Plea Agreement with the Prosecutor of the Department III of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina.  

By virtue of signing the Plea Agreement, the accused has fully admitted the commission of the criminal offense charged by the Indictment of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina dated 04 August 2014.

Pursuant to the Plea Agreement, the Prosecutor and the Defense agree that the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina impose a suspended sentence upon the accused Fadil Pezo by determining the sentence of imprisonment for a term of six (6) months, and at the same time ordering that such a sentence will not be executed provided that the accused does not commit another criminal offense within the next one (1) year.   

The proposed punishment is in accordance with the role of the accused in the perpetration of the criminal offense in question.

With this Plea Agreement, the accused has confirmed to be familiar with the content of the Indictment of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina. At the same time, he has confirmed to have entered his plea of guilty voluntarily, consciously and with understanding, and he has taken upon himself an obligation to bear the expenses of the criminal proceedings in the amount which will be determined by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which depends on the complexity of the proceedings.   

By virtue of entering into this Plea Agreement, the accused person has waived his right to a trial and right to appeal to the criminal sanction pronounced against him by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on the basis of this Plea Agreement.

The respective Plea Agreement has been forwarded to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
