The establishment of mutual liaison officers under the Protocol was discussed at the meeting. The officers in question would be situated in the office of the partner institution as representatives of their own respective institutions aiming to expedite and improve the technical  cooperation on specific cases.

The cases in which the two offices work together were discussed as joint activities should soon follow. Such activities will surely satisfy the families of the victims because they will lead to significant progress in prosecution.

Prosecutor Vukčević commended the work and activities of the Prosecutor’s Office carried out in the past two weeks, when more than 8 significant and extensive operations were carried out resulting with the arrests of more than 75 persons 20 of which were apprehended in war crimes cases.
