Exhumations were carried out at two locations in Zvornik Municipality. Several human remains were unearthed at the location of Križevići, while the remains of one body were unearthed at the second location – Planinci.

An exhumation was also carried out at the location of Džemat in Vlasenica municipality resulting with the unearthing of several human remains.

The recovered remains were transferred to the Commemorative Center Tuzla for further forensic processing and collection of samples for the DNA analysis aiming to identify the war crimes victims.

The exhumation process was coordinated by an investigator of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, who was at the field, and  was attended by representatives of the BiH Institute for Missing Persons, forensic pathologist, employees and machinery of the Commemorative Center Tuzla as well as police officers of the RS MoI.

The Prosecutor's Office of BiH, along with other institutions involved in the process of tracing the missing persons in BiH, continues its activities in the process of exhumations and tracing the missing in all parts of BiH.
