AFTER IDENTITY CONFIRMATION, MORTAL REMAINS OF ONE PERSON MISSING FROM 1992 EXHUMED IN SARAJEVO

31.05.2024. 13:27 An investigator from the Special Department for War Crimes coordinated the work of authorized officers at the Bare Cemetery in Sarajevo during the re-exhumation of the mortal remains of a missing person from 1992.

29.05.2024. 14:37 At the conference of chief prosecutors in BiH, which is taking place in Teslić in the organisation of the HJPC of BiH, the Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, Milanko Kajganić, participated as a speaker in a panel related to the analysis of the most significant results of the work of the prosecutor’s offices in BiH, with a special focus on the fight against corruption and organised crime.    

AFTER SIGNING PLEA AGREEMENTS, PERSONS ACCUSED OF INTERNATIONAL SMUGGLING OF MIGRANTS SENTENCED TO TOTAL OF FOUR YEARS IN PRISON

28.05.2024. 12:42 As part of the case conducted for the criminal offences of human smuggling, the accused Baban Mohammed Kareem, born in 1990 in Iraq, a citizen of Iraq, and Onen Ilhan, also known as "Doctor", born in 1986 in Omerli-rep, a citizen of Turkey, who are currently remanded in custody, signed Plea Agreements admitting their guilt for the commission of the criminal offences charged against them by the indictment of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina under Article 189 and Article 189a of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina, after which they were sentenced by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina to a single sentence of imprisonment for a term of two (2) years each.  

CHIEF PROSECUTOR MEETS WITH AMBASSADOR OF REPUBLIC OF FINLAND

28.05.2024. 09:21 The Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milanko Kajganić, together with his advisors, met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Finland to Bosnia and Herzegovina, H.E. Kalle Kankaanpaa, who also covers the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina from the Embassy in Zagreb.

MORTAL REMAINS OF TWO PERSONS EXHUMED IN THE AREA OF BROD

23.05.2024. 11:53 A legal officer from the Special Department for War Crimes coordinated the exhumation process at an unmarked site within the Brod city graveyard, where the mortal remains of two people were found.
