DUTY PROSECUTOR OF THE PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BIH COORDINATES ACTIVITIES TO PREVENT THE SMUGGLING OF 74 MIGRANTS - MEASURES PROPOSED FOR THE SUSPECTS INCLUDE DETENTION MEASURES AND PROHIBITION MEASURES

17.11.2023. 14:30 Acting within his 24-hour on-call duty, the prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH received information from members of the Border Police of BiH that during border control on two occasions, four suspects were discovered in respective attempts to smuggle a total of 74 migrants, including 30 children, in vans and a passenger motor vehicle.

The activities are aimed at prosecuting corrupt criminal offenses linked with the illegal importation of large quantities of various goods, mainly from the territory of the Republic of Serbia into Bosnia and Herzegovina.
