INDICTMENT ISSUED AGAINST MOMČILO ŠEŠELJ (1964) AND RISTO VREĆA (1970)

Prosecutor of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption of the BiH Prosecutor's Office issued the Indictment against: -  Momčilo Šešelj,  born in Trebinje Municipality on 30 July 1964, residing in the Municipality of Ravno, national of BiH and Montenegro, and
- Risto Vreća,  born in Trebinje on 17 October 1970, residing in Trebinje, national of BiH.  

The accused are charged with the criminal offenses of Organized Crime under Article 250 of the CC BiH, Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs under Article 195 of the CC BiH and Illicit Production and Trafficking in Weapons and Explosive Substances under Article 399 (1) of the CC of Republika Srpska, as read with Article 53 of the CC BiH.  

The Indictment alleges that the accused joined the organized group in order to organize together international trafficking in substances or preparations, which are declared narcotic drugs by regulation, in order to acquire material gain.

According to the Indictment, the accused established contacts with persons from the Republic of Montenegro known to them in order to make arrangements for the purchase of narcotic drug – skunk and its further sale on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina.  

On 17 April 2010, they arranged for taking over and delivery of 28 kg of narcotic drug – skunk, and tried to sell it further to persons known to them on a side road in the area of Trebinje, where they were sopped by the police officials of the State Investigation and Protection Agency – SIPA, who then arrested these individuals.

In illegal drug market, the confiscated amount of the narcotic drug – skunk values at Euro 40,000. 

The Indictment further alleges that Risto Vreća's apartment was searched on the same day, when a certain quantity of weapons, ammunition and equipment was found. These objects were held illegally and were seized from him on that occasion.  

The accused Momčilo Šešelj is charged with the criminal offense of Organized Crime under Article 250, as read with the criminal offense of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs under Article 195 of the CC BiH, and the accused Risto Vreća is charged with the criminal offense of Organized Crime under Article 250 (1) of the CC BiH, as read with the criminal offense of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs under Article 195 (2) of the same Code, and the criminal offense of Illicit Production and Trafficking in Weapons and Explosive Substances under Article 399 (1) of the CC of Republika Srpska, as read with Article 53 of the CC BiH.

The accused persons are in custody.

The Indictment has been filed with the Court of BiH for confirmation.
