The accused are charged with having obtained, in a yet undetermined manner, and kept four counterfeit banknotes in denominations of 50 KM which they have agreed to put into circulation as genuine, even though they knew the bills were counterfeits, on February 16, 2010.

The indictment alleges that they drove themselves in an „Audi 100" to Donji Vakuf, where Šoto Eldin parked the above mentioned vehicle in the parking lot, and all three came out. Before exiting the vehicle Mušanović Zahid took a single counterfeit 50 KM banknote from the glove compartment, leaving the three remaining counterfeit banknotes hidden in the cover of the CD in the glove compartment of the vehicle.

Mušanović Zahid and Sejfić Sejo headed towards a nearby newsstand, where Sejfić Sejo attempted to pay for a pack of cigarettes with the counterfeit banknote, but the seller refused to accept it, noticing it was invalid. Sejfić Sejo gave the counterfeit banknote in question to Šoto Eldin who then threw it away.

All three suspects were subsequently controlled by the Donji Vakuf PD officers and brought to the police station where Šoto Eldin handed over the remaining three counterfeit banknotes  which were hidden in the cover of the CD to the police.

The suspects are charged with having obtained counterfeit money and the attempt to put it in circulation as genuine, by which they committed the criminal offense of Counterfeiting  of Money under Article 205, Paragraph 1 of the CC of BiH, in conjunction with Article 26 of the Criminal Code of  BiH, all in conjunction with Article 29 of the CC of BiH.

The indictment was forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation.
