INDICTMENT ISSUED FOR ILLEGAL TRADE IN EXCISE PRODUCTS

- NADA LUKIĆ, born in 1958 in the municipality of Šekovići, citizen of BiH.
According to the allegations of the indictment, the accused is charged that with a view to acquiring unlawful property gain and with an intention to sell them further, she was involved in illicit trade in excise products, namely that in the private premises of the family house she used she unlawfully stored a large quantity of cigarettes and tobacco, the products that were not marked with valid BiH excise stamps.
During the search, authorised officials found and seized more than 5,000 packs of cigarettes of various brands and 33.5 kilos of tobacco packed in 67 packages weighing 0.5 kilos each, which the accused intended to put up for sale.
The accused is charged with having committed the criminal offence of Illicit Trade in Excise Products in violation of Article 210a (1) of the Criminal Code of BiH, in conjunction with Article 26 thereof.
The indictment was forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation.
