LARGER QUANTITIES OF EXCISE GOODS SEIZED IN OPERATION CONDUCTED BY PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BIH AND ITA OF BIH
10.04.2020. 14:00In a coordinated operation conducted under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, authorised officials of the Indirect Taxation Authority (ITA) BiH, in several separate operations, discovered and seized a significant quantity of cigarettes and tobacco, as well as other items used to commit the crime.
During searches at several location, a large quantity of tobacco and cigarettes without excise stamps, intended for sale at the black market, were discovered and seized.
The seized excise goods reach a value of about BAM 180.000.
The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and law enforcement agencies of our country are determined to counter committing financial crime offences in times of emergency.
The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH is continuing its intensive work on the case.
