ACCUSED PLEADED GUILTY IN PEOPLE-SMUGGLING CASE; AGREEMENTS FORESEE PRISON TERMS AND CONFISCATION OF ILLEGALLY ACQUIRED MATERIAL GAIN; CASE THUS COMPLETED AS FINAL AND BINDING

- SINIŠA ŠAKIĆ (1985) and ZORAN MILOŠEVIĆ (1979), citizens of BiH,
who are accused of the criminal offence of Smuggling of People in violation of Article 189 (2), as read with Paragraph 1 thereof, in conjunction with Article 29 of the Criminal Code of BiH.
The Prosecutor and the Defence have agreed that, based on the agreement, the Court of BiH is to render a criminal sanction - imprisonment for six (6) months against the accused.
Pursuant to Article 110 and Article 110a of the Criminal Code of BiH, the unlawfully acquired material gained by the criminal offence totalling €2,500 will be confiscated from the accused.
In addition, a BMW passenger motor vehicle, which served as the means for committing the criminal offence, will be confiscated from the accused Milošević.
The accused are charged that they, intending to acquire a property gain in the amount of €2,500, transported an illegal migrant fleeing from the judicial institutions of Germany and allowed him to reside in the territory of BiH.
The agreements were forwarded to the Court of BiH.
