INDICTMENT ISSUED FOR SMUGGLING OF PERSONS
21.09.2018. 13:46- SEAD HUSIĆ, born in 1954 in Todorovo, a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This accused person is charged with transporting and enabling illegal transfer across the state border from Bosnia and Herzegovina to Croatia of two migrants- citizens of Pakistan, who did not have any identification documents and had entered the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina illegally, which he did with the intent of procuring unlawful material gain.
According to the allegations in the Indictment, on 4 March this year, the accused transported the migrants near the local road which was in immediate vicinity of the state border, and then he showed them the road where they could cross the border illegally. Upon his return, he was detected by the members of the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The accused person is charged with the commission of the criminal offence of Smuggling of Persons, as referred to in Article 189, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Indictment has been forwarded to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina for confirmation.
