MIRZA GERGIĆ (1985) CONCLUDED A PLEA AGREEMENT

The accused Mirza Gergić – born on July 21, 1985 in Tuzla where he resides, BiH citizen, charged with the continued criminal offense of Counterfeiting of Money under Article 205, Paragraph 1 of the CC BiH in conjunction with Article 54 of the CC BiH and the criminal offense Forgery of Documents under Article 377, Paragraph  1 of the CC RS - entered into plea agreement with the Prosecutor of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption within the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH.
  • MIRZA GERGIĆ (1985) CONCLUDED A PLEA AGREEMENT

Pursuant to the agreement the Prosecutor agrees that the accused Mirza Gergić be rendered an imprisonment sentence in duration of one (1) year and five (5) months by the Court of BiH.

By virtue of signing the agreement the accused person fully admitted committing the criminal offenses he was charged with by the indictments of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH issued on March 18, 2013; August 9, 2013 and August 15, 2013 that were confirmed in their entirety by the Court of BiH.

The proposed sentence is in line with the role of the accused person in commission of the criminal offenses.

With this agreement the accused confirms that he is aware of the content of the indictment issued by the BiH Prosecutor's Office. He also confirms that the plea statement was given voluntarily and knowingly with full understanding and that he is aware that he may have to undertake to reimburse the costs of the criminal procedure and possible property claims.

Pursuant to this agreement the accused has waived his right to a trial as well as his right to appeal the criminal sanction that shall be rendered to him by the Court of BiH.

The agreement was submitted to the Court of BiH.
